Next week, J.C. Newman Cigar Co. will begin shipping Brick House Beginnings Ciento por Ciento, a new, limited-edition cigar exclusive to members of the Tobacconists' Association of America (TAA). A total of 800 boxes of 10 cigars will ship to TAA members across the United States. The Brick House Ciento por Ciento has a suggested retail price of $12 per cigar.

Handcrafted in J.C. Newman’s Nicaraguan factory, Puros de Esteli Nicaragua, S.A. (J.C. Newman PENSA), Ciento por Ciento

is a Nicaraguan puro.  All of the tobaccos in this special cigar are grown in the rich, volcanic soils of Nicaragua, hence the name Ciento por Ciento, which means 100% in Spanish. The wrapper is a Habana-seed leaf grown in the Jalapa Valley, with binder and filler tobaccos from three of Nicaragua’s mountainous regions.

Brick House Beginnings is an occasional series of well-aged cigars. The Brick House Beginnings Ciento por Ciento cigars have been aged for five years.

“Brick House is one of my great-grandfather’s original cigar brands,” says fourth-generation owner, Drew Newman. “First rolled in 1937, Brick House honors the home where my great-grandfather was born in 1875. As it was the only house in the village built from brick, the home was known as ‘the brick house.’”

This TAA exclusive has been aged for five years and is limited to only 800 boxes.
